Mission:

The mission of he Ayurvedic Institute is to teach Ayurveda, the science of life, utilizing a traditional Vedic approach including the main disciplines of Sanskrit, Yoga, Astrology (Jyotish) and Vaastu. The teaching style is form an oral tradition, and one of apprenticeship, in which the student learns with the teacher who shares knowledge and experiences that assist the student in developing a conceptual framework and fundamental working and traditional knowledge of Ayurveda.

Our main goal is to expose the student to Ayurvedic philosophy, principles and practices that, when integrated into lifestyle; bring peace and proper balance to the body, mind and soul. The traditional Vedic style utilized is based on personal growth through spirituality. The IIACM is committed to providing an environment in which the student can find the freedom to learn and make choices that promote self healing and bring the individual into balance.

Organization

The IIACM INC. was founded in June 2004 in Toronto, Canada which is registered by Government of Canada as articles of Incorporation.

Eligibility

According to "Private Career College" there are main 3 categories of Eligibility

1) Any one who is over age of 18/19

2) Any one who has passed grade 12/13

3) Any one who is age of over 18/19 can apply for any course as "Career Change", you don't have to be from any medical or health care or Science  background.

Fees: Easy Payment Plans are available*

Please note that most of the new batch starts at every month 1st and/or 15th.

Student Services

· Student Assistance & Special Services

The staff of the IIACM INC. is always available to discuss with and assist students in various matters. These include applying for courses, questions or problems regarding the course, the status of Ayurveda in the CANADA (North America), opportunities and problems with practicing Ayurveda and other Natural Health Care Systems, studying Ayurveda elsewhere (like INDIA), and other topics including personal matters or personal health issues.

· International Students

1. For International Students Professional Immigration services can be provided (Fees apply).

> First student should apply to the Institute along with surety that they have necessary funds to support themselves while attending school.

> We require that students show that they can cover the full expenses of tuition and fees as well as about $ 1000 Canadian Dollars for each month as living and other expenses.

> If someone else is sponsoring the student to attend school, that person must provide a letter stating his or her intention to support the student for the duration of desire school year

> All these documents must send to Institute for approval

2. Airport pick-up and accommodation can be arranged (Fees apply).

3. Paying Guest / Apartment can be arranged.

4. As an International Students, you should apply for 1 year or 2 year, or more lengths courses are valid

5. Toronto is very well-organized city where transportation services are excellent that you may live without car.

6. Toronto is Multi-Cultural city and you may find people from various 101 countries around the globe.

7. Generally, during winter temperature can go down up to -30 C, but all buildings and vehicles are well-equipped with proper CENTRAL HEATING system

8. During summer, temperature can go up to + 30 C, with very long daylight.

9. DLS (Day Light Savings) approximately applies between April to October End.

10. You can easily find good restaurants, grocery stores and convenience store around the Institute. 

  •  Basic Application / Admission Process for International Students
  1. Choose a program (Course)
  2. Fill-out an application form and submit with required documents
  3. Pay a fee: (a) Registration Fee and (2) full fee of course or partial fee(refundable) via demand draft / money order / cheque* (Canadian Dollars only)
  4. Based on your application and submission of related documents, IIACM INC. will issue an "Acceptance Letter"
  5. Student will go to the local visa office with this "Acceptance Letter" and other related documents to get "Student Permit" (Student Visa)
  6. Now student will travel to a destination (IIIACM Inc. Canada)

· Accreditation & Recognition

1.  IIACM INC is organized & collaborated with Himalayan Institute of Acupuncture & Complimentary Medicines, Dehradun, India, and Open International University for Complimentary Medicines, Colombo, Sri Lanka affiliated with Medicina Alternativa International.

2.  IIACM INC. is registered under Ministry of Consumer and Business Services under the act of "Private Career College". 

· Employment Opportunities

1. Toronto is large city, contains various health food stores, Spa centres, as well as holistic centres

2. After proper training and certification, our Institute and Association (International Council of Ayurvedic Physicians (ICAP) Inc.) can help you set-up your own practice too.**
